Mahesh has had extensive experience in the corporate sector covering specific areas of expertise include leadership development, team management , change management, critical role transitions, succession planning and career development.
A regular contributor to the daily newspapers he is a thought leader on areas such as leadership development and human resource management. He has also been featured on several TV programs.
Mahesh infuses wide and diverse experience spanning over 20 years in the public and private sector across many industries from financial services, manufacturing, plantations, health care and construction into his consultancy practice. Having gained overseas exposure in Kenya, Indonesia, India and Malaysia, he has also had public sector exposure in the American Chamber of Commerce and UNDP in Sri Lanka.
Further, his exposure into the disciplines of general management, human resource management and development, marketing, finance and supply chain management, production and education services provides depth and clarity to consultancy services of MPower Soft Skills (Pvt) Ltd
Mahesh is a motivational trainer and has conducted over 120 sessions internationally and locally for professional associations comprising Toastmasters, Doctors, Engineers, Accountants, University Lecturers and students.
Reading for his Doctoral Programme in Organizational Behavior focusing on ‘Leader Communication and Organizational Culture’ with the Open University of Malaysia, he is a much sought after Visiting Lecturer for Masters Programmes at the Universities of Moratuwa and Kelaniya.
Mahesh is a Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) of Toastmasters International, USA (TI) and has held District, Division, Area and Club level leadership positions with the organization.
